This will be the Official After-Party for the Vampire Weekend show at Red Rocks. Their label will be sending us some great Vampire Weekend swag to give away. So check out Vampire Weekend, Beach House & Dum Dum Girls at Red Rocks then head down to Lipgloss to hang at the after-party! Bring your ticket stub from the show and we’ll even let you have one of our drink specials for free. Sweet.

And…

Fresh off their album release last Saturday, Denver electro hep-cats Jonathan & BPro have constructed a 15-minute continuous set especially for their Lipgloss friends! If your poor ears have not yet been graced by the tunes of these two fine young men, then we recommend you be with us at midnight as they bring First Friday into First Saturday with the greatest aplomb seen this side of reality.

Surrounding this sonic projection of musical genius will be the no less enthralling sounds of Lipgloss resident DJ’s boyhollow & Chase Dobson. If there’s a reason that Lipgloss is consistently at capacity by the end of every Friday night, then these two drunken gentlemen are surely it. That, and the $2 PBR’s, $2 G+T’s and $3 Vodka all night long. But we prefer to blame such fortune on ourselves.

We’ll also have Cartoon Dogs running video for the night. These guys did a kick-ass job at the Jonathan & BPro CD Release show, so when they asked if they could jump on and do video for the night, of course we said yes! Not to worry, though – our regular VJ D-Bom will be back in effect the week after.

Finally, we’ll have some great ticket giveaways right around midnight, so keep your ears peeled and don’t mill around confusedly when we try to give them away! Expect tickets to:
