Hi, I’m jason, I just got done writing a stupid, third person bio, and well, it felt weird and dishonest. So were going to try it this way. Ive been djing for over 7 years, and producing for two, I still really suck at the production thing, but your not coming to lipgloss to hear a me do a live PA, and thank science for that! Your coming to hear me play other people music.
Now, I like lots of music, even some country/western, though I have a through despise for republicans and hicks after growing up in Wyoming. For this night at lipgloss I’m going a variety of places, the first set will be much of the work by artists like shazam and breakbot and the valerie collective, a lot of synthed out electro pop for the lovers(think sebastian tellier remixes), new mix of this stuff coming out before valentines day, check the myspace for the free download, it’ll be sickly sweet, and make you want to make out with someone like a teenager, if your a girl, if your a dude, especially a dudebrodude, it’ll make you want to vomit all over your original sabbath 12". Next set, depending on how the earlier stuff worked, I’ll be moving more into the pumpin hipster disco, maimi horror, codebreaker, maybe, MAYBE an 80’s cut if I lose the floor and want to get em back quick, but keepin it light, keepin it fun. the third late set will be no holds bared slammin dance rock and nu electro, were talkin high bpms, skull crushing guitar riffs, and jaw dropping distorted synths, smash a bottle on your head mayhem music. Think the new DatA EP meets Justice at a tweaker party in a trailer court…minus the strung out weirdness. I am also really excited about my new monthly computer love(after the kraftwerk song), so keep an eye out for that as well.
